Guidelines for Authors

The IJEETE accepts high-quality original work in the fields of Electrical, Electronics, Communication, Computer, and Technology Engineering. Authors must carefully follow these guidelines to ensure smooth peer review and publication. Manuscripts that do not adhere will be returned for revision.


Article Types & Format

1. Research / Original Articles

  • Present novel research findings, methods, or applications.
  • Structure must include:
    • Introduction: Background, objectives, problem statement.
    • Methods: Experimental setup, design, tools, simulations, or models.
    • Results: Data analysis, tables, graphs, comparisons.
    • Discussion/Conclusions: Interpretation, significance, limitations, future work.

2. Review Articles

  • Summarize and critically analyze existing literature in engineering and technology.
  • Highlight trends, gaps, and research opportunities.

3. Case Studies / Technical Notes

  • Short reports on innovative applications, prototypes, or unique technical solutions.

4. Survey / Perspective Papers

  • Provide overviews of emerging technologies and offer insights into future developments.

5. Letters to the Editor

  • Concise technical observations, feedback on published work, or new ideas worth sharing.

Manuscript Preparation

Cover Letter

Include:

  • Title of the article.
  • Statement of exclusive submission to IJEETE.
  • Relevance of the study to the journalโ€™s scope.
  • Author approval confirmation.

Title Page

  • Full article title (โ‰ค 130 characters).
  • Running title (โ‰ค 75 characters).
  • Names and affiliations of all authors.
  • Corresponding authorโ€™s email and contact details.
  • Word count (excluding abstract/references).

Abstract & Keywords

  • 200โ€“300 words: Problem, methodology, results, conclusions.
  • 3โ€“5 keywords, alphabetically arranged.

Abbreviations

  • Define at first appearance.
  • Avoid in the title.
  • Clarify in tables/figures.

Text Structure

  • Research Papers: Introduction โ†’ Methods โ†’ Results โ†’ Discussion โ†’ Conclusion.
  • Reviews: Thematic sub-sections with logical flow.
  • Case Studies: Problem โ†’ Method โ†’ Solution โ†’ Implications.
  • References cited in superscript (e.g., โ€œas reported earlier^1โ€).

Figures, Tables & Illustrations

  • Tables:
    • Insert after references.
    • Sequentially numbered, clear, non-duplicative.
  • Figures:
    • High resolution (.jpg or .png).
    • Sequential numbering, with legends at the end of the manuscript.
    • Circuit diagrams, flowcharts, and simulations must be sharp and properly labeled.

Additional Sections

  • Conflicts of Interest: Mandatory statement.
  • Acknowledgments: For funding, assistance, or collaborators.
  • References:
    • Consecutive numbering.
    • IEEE citation format recommended.
    • Journal names abbreviated as per IEEE/Scopus standards.
  • Supplementary Materials: Allowed for datasets, algorithms, codes, or extended results.

Submission Process

  • Ensure alignment with IJEETEโ€™s scope.
  • Submit in .docx or .pdf format via online system/email.
  • Required files:
    • Cover letter.
    • Manuscript.
    • Separate figures/tables.
    • Supplementary material (if any).
  • All papers undergo plagiarism check.
  • Peer review duration: ~4โ€“6 weeks.
  • Authors may suggest reviewers.
